How The Cabinets-a-New Process Works
Our Process
Let's Meet!
A Cabinets-A-New team member will come to your home,evaluate your kitchen cabinets, gather information regarding your needs, and offer suggestions. Afterward, you’ll visit our showroom and paint facility to choose colors and materials. Then, we’llprovide a written estimate that includes information regarding cost, timelines, new hardware requests, and other logistical matters.
Out With The Old
Once the estimate has been approved and a paint color or finish chosen, a Cabinets-A-New team will remove your kitchen cabinet doors, drawer fronts (if detachable) and hardware.Each of these will be numbered to ensure correct placement during reinstallation. (Before the team arrives, you’ll need to remove all items from your cabinets, countertops, and the top of your refrigerator.)
Prep & Paint
Your cabinet doors and drawer fronts will be thoroughly cleaned, prepped, repaired, coated with a bonding agent, and sprayed inour shop. The remaining cabinet boxes will be cleaned, prepped, repaired (surface only), coated with a bonding agent and paintedin your kitchen. Exposed areas — such as kitchen counters and areas within the boxes — will be covered to protect themfrom paint splatter.
Bring In The New
Your newly-painted cabinet doors and drawer fronts —as well as cabinet hardware — are reinstalled.
Make Everything Just Right
Adjustments, touch ups and final clean up are performed after the reinstallation is complete.
